Which Exercise Videos are Effective

There are a variety of exercise videos out there. One isn’t necessarily more effective than another, however, you need to find one that is best suited for your exercise program.

What to look for in a video:

First decide what you want to learn, do you want a how-to video, a choreographed group dance video, or a step-by-step aerobic/kickboxing video?

Next, do your research, look online for reviews of different videos, different artists who have created them. See what others say, if the video has helped them in any way.

Make sure the video has proper lighting, and is fun and easy to watch and follow. You don’t want a video that is focused on twisting and turning, this ruins the purpose of learning from a video.

Look for a video that is thorough in its instructions and doesn’t speed through important steps.

Finally, look for a video that contains multiple levels. This way, when you have mastered the basics, you can move onto a more intermediate level.
