Fat Free Diet
The fat free diet, or a low fat diet, is designed to rid individuals of obesity and metabolism issues. The fat free diet requires individuals to remove most or all fat from their meals and replace them with low fat or fat free substitutes. Dairy products especially fall into this category, as many foods, such as cottage cheese, sour cream and yogurt, come in varieties that are nearly fat free. In some cases, meat, eggs and butter are prohibited and individuals must stick to eating vegetables, some fruits and starch, including potatoes, pasta and rice. In plans that do allow for meat, individuals must stick to lean beef, fish, veal, liver and lamb. This plan is not designed for significant weight loss but rather as a lifestyle change, although weight loss may accompany the diet in cases of overweight or obese dieters.
