The drop snatch is a free weights exercise that primarily targets the glutes and to a lesser degree also targets the groin, chest, shoulders, biceps, forearms, quads, calves, triceps, lats, lower back, hamstrings, hip flexors, and outer thighs.

The only drop snatch equipment that you really need is the following: barbell. There are however many different drop snatch variations that you can try out that may require different types of drop snatch equipment or maye even require no equipment at all.
