The leg press is a exercise machine exercise that primarily targets the quads and to a lesser degree also targets the glutes and hamstrings.

The only leg press equipment that you really need is the following: leg press machine. There are however many different leg press variations that you can try out that may require different types of leg press equipment or maye even require no equipment at all.

    Good for isolating legs, but squats are better for legs with core involvement
