3 Exercises to Tighten Your Abs

Solidify your core and get abs to die for with these three exercises!

Tight abs are fashionable no matter what season it is. An abs exercise routine that doesn’t require any exercise equipment makes it easy for you to get in shape for every occasion.

These abs exercises work more than just your stomach. You’ll tone and sculpt other muscle groups while you flatten your abs. Your neck, back and arms can all benefit from the same routine.  

Make sure you take a 20 to 30 second rest in between each exercise and alternate the order for a little variety.

Mixing it up will keep you more interested in getting your abs ripped and yield great results sooner.

Step 1

Start in a kneeling position and walk your hands out in front of you on the mat.

Step 2

Bring your shoulders directly over your wrists with your knees resting on the mat.

Step 3

Lengthen your spine out through the crown of your head and back through your tail bone.

Frog Crunches - Step 1

Begin on your back with your knees bent and the sides of your feet together. Open your legs to create a ï¾Vï¾ shape and lift your feet about a foot above the floor.

Step 2

Put your hands together and lift your upper torso as you thrust your arms through the opening in your legs, performing an ab crunch.

 

Step 3

Roll back to starting position and repeat.

Fold at the waist and step your right foot to the back of the mat.

Step 2

Keeping your right leg straight and your knee elevated, take your arms up alongside your head and hold your balance.
