Athletic Hip Twists

Step 1

Athletic Hip Twists - Step 1

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent and hands at chest level.

 

Step 2

Athletic Hip Twists - Step 1

Keeping your upper body facing forward, jump and twist your hips to face one side of the room and drop your hips into a quick squat.

Step 3

Athletic Hip Twists - Step 1

From there, jump up and rotate your hips around to the other side. Use only your abs and hips to drive the rotation.

Begin on your back with your right leg bent and your left leg extended.

 

Step 2

Cross your right leg over your left leg and twist your torso to the left, keeping your arms at your sides.

Step 3

Knee Cross T Stretch - Step  1

Return to starting position and switch sides.

 

Side Lunge with Single Arm Stretch

Side Lunge  with Single Arm Stretch - Step 1

Take a wide stance with your knees slightly bent and abs tight. Lean your weight into your right leg, pushing your hips to the right and back.

 

Step 2

Side Lunge  with Single Arm Stretch - Step 1

Holding the lunge, place your left hand on your hip, and lift your right arm over your head, stretching it to the left side of the room.

 

Step 3

Side Lunge  with Single Arm Stretch - Step 1

Return to starting position and switch sides.
