Hip Abduction

Tighten and tone your legs with this deceptively challenging move.

  • Step 1

    Hip Abduction - Gentle Exercise - Step 1

    Stand behind the chair with your feet hip width apart, your right hand resting on the seat back and your left hand on your hip.

  • Step 2

    Hip Abduction - Gentle Exercise - Step 2

    Shift your weight onto your right leg and raise your left leg straight out to the side. Keep your foot flexed, your leg straight and your hips square.

  • Step 3

    Hip Abduction - Gentle Exercise - Step 3

    Return your leg to starting position without touching your foot to the floor and repeat.
