Side Lunge with Dumbbells

Work your outer thighs with this challenging lunge variation.

  • Step 1

    Side Lunge with Dumbbells - Strength Exercise - Step 1

    Stand with legs hips width apart and a dumbbell in each hand. Your arms should hang at your sides.

  • Step 2

    Side Lunge with Dumbbells - Strength Exercise - Step 2

    Step to one side and extend with your leg fully extended. Bend forward from your hips and reach the dumbbells toward the floor.

  • Step 3

    Side Lunge with Dumbbells - Strength Exercise - Step 3

    Return to center. Switch sides and repeat.
