Nature’s Way Innovation

Nature’s Way was developed during a time when FDA regulations and consumer demands for clinical testing of dietary supplements did not exist. In fact, most people who chose the medicinal plant way were thought to be strange or hippies left over from the 1960s.

Just because it was not required to follow regulations, doesn’t mean Nature’s Way did not. Nature’s Way set their own regulations in hopes of gaining the trust of its customers and future customers.

Nature’s Way Testing and Clinical Trials

Nature’s Way were the first company to have a facility just for the testing of and distribution of supplements. Nature’s Way was the first company to seek a certification in organic foods.

Most importantly, Nature’s Way was the first company to conduct clinical trials to test their products and prove to consumers what they knew to be true themselves. None of these things were required by law when Nature’s Way was founded, but have since become requirements for all supplement and nutrition companies.

Nature’s Way Gives Back

Currently, Nature’s Way uses a percentage of its profits to conduct dietary research, fund the protection of the rain forest, and lead legislation on health care issues including supplement use as a viable way of treating illnesses that should be completely covered by health insurance and accepted by practicing physicians.

Nature’s Way also contributes to vitamin distribution to the poor and the ongoing developments in breast cancer research.
