Improve lower back and glute strength using weighted resistance against gravity.

  • Step 1

    Medicine Ball Hyperextension - Strength Exercise - Step 1

    Lie on your stomach and hold a medicine ball above your head with your elbows slightly bent.

  • Step 2

    Medicine Ball Hyperextension - Strength Exercise - Step 2

    Tighten your abdominals and glutes.

  • Step 3

    Medicine Ball Hyperextension - Strength Exercise - Step 3

    Hold this position for several deep breaths and slowly lower to the floor. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
