When added to their feed, it apparently prevented them from losing too much weight when they became dehydrated due to heat.stress.  As yet, this benefit has not been proven to translate to humans.

Magnesium Aspartate Side Effects

When this supplement is taken on an empty stomach, stomach upset and diarrhea may occur. To reduce these side effects, magnesium aspartate should be taken with a meal. You should promptly notify your doctor or pharmacist if either of these effects persist or get worse.

It is highly unlikely for anyone to experience a serious allergic reaction to this particular supplement, but it is still possible. If you experience symptoms that might indicate an allergic reaction, such as a rash, swelling, itching, intense dizziness or trouble breathing, seek medical assistance immediately.

Magnesium Aspartate And Drug Interactions

Before using this or any supplement product, it’s a good idea to tell your doctor or pharmacist of all medications, prescription or nonprescription, and herbal products you use.
