ANSI Nutritional Supplements

The largest variety of products produced and sold by ANSI are those that fall into the category of nutritional supplements. These include products for weight loss, muscle growth, and protein intake. While several different products are marketed by ANSI under each category, these are the categories in which ANSI’s supplements fall:

• Diet pills/Ephedra/Lipodrene
• Body Building Supplements
• Andro and Prohormones
• HGH (Human Growth Hormone)
• Whey Protein
• Testosterone boosters
• Dianabol for increased muscle growth

While there are too many supplements produced by ANSI to go into detail on each and every one, the following are three of ANSI’s most popular supplement products.

• Ephedra pills for diet and weight loss have been found to improve weight loss dramatically when combined with a healthy diet and exercise. ANSI continues to advertise Ephedra as a popular supplement on its website; however, Ephedra was officially banned by the FDA in 2006 for being found to be associated with several deaths due to heart attacks, strokes, and seizures after taking the drug. Many companies still marketing pills containing Ephedra claim that it is all natural and safe.
• Hoodia Extract is another popular supplement that can be purchased through ANSI. Hoodia is used as an appetite suppressant to increase weight loss. While Hoodia has not been banned like Ephedra, it is also not approved by the FDA. More research is still being done on this supplement.

While many claim it is completely natural and safe, some worry about its effects on the liver. Diabetics are warned against taking it because it can trick the body into thinking it has high enough blood sugar levels. Some people also are concerned with its impact on proper hydration saying that in addition to suppressing appetite it also suppresses thirst, which can lead to dehydration.

• L-Glutamine, which comes in pill or powder form, contains a naturally occurring amino acid which boosts protein synthesis and nitrogen retention leading to improved metabolism and the ability for muscle tissue to repair itself more quickly. Glutamine has not been found to have any adverse side effects when taken as directed and in moderate amounts.

ANSI in Food and Drink Products

In addition to nutritional supplements in the form of pills or powders, ANSI makes several drinks and bars designed to increase protein in your diet and give you added energy. These products include:

• The Ultimate Flurry Protein Bar – This high protein/low carb bar contains candy or cookie pieces making it taste like a candy bar. It also contains healthy fats (flax oil) and probiotics for digestive system health. The bars come in three favors: Double Peanut Butter, Cookie Lovers, and Double Chocolate.
• The Ultimate Flurry Protein Powder – A companion to the Flurry bars, this powder contains pieces of crushed candy and cookies to make, what the company describes as, a delicious protein shake. It also contains amino acids, flax oil, Glutamine, and BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids) for added energy and muscle growth when working out.
• Xtreme Shock Energy Performance Drink – An energy drink that claims to boost energy levels significantly just 15 minutes after drinking it. It has low carbs and zero grams of sugar. Xtreme Shock also comes in powder form which can be added to a glass or bottle of water. Shock Berry and Watermelon are currently the two flavors being marketed.
• Protein Ice Drinks – These drinks claim to boost protein levels significantly because they contain 13 grams of Glutamine and eight grams of BCAAs. They also have zero carbs, fat, or lactose. Protein Ice is recommended to be used immediately following a workout or anytime if you just need to boost your protein levels. This product has been used with patients who have had bariatric surgery to maintain adequate protein levels following surgery. Protein Ice comes in watermelon, peach mango, and apple flavors, and is also available in a four ounce “shooter” variety.

ANSI and Plant Products

ANSI also manufactures several products meant to improve plant growth and crop yield. The most well-known of these is Bud Factor X, which is designed to maximize crop yields and enhance plant growth when used by the everyday gardener.  Bud Candy and Iguana Juice Bloom are two other fairly well-known products produced by ANSI that are used by plant growers around the world.
