Core Nutritionals Products

Core Nutritionals currently sells six products. Considering the age of the company, this is actually a lot. It usually takes new supplement companies several years to come up with a line of products to sell. Generally a company this young will have one or two products fro several years and then release more.

The products sold by Core Nutritionals are:

  • Core ABC
  • Core Flex
  • Core MRP
  • Core PWO
  • Core TEST
  • Core ZAP

Core ABC is supposed to be a product that helps you build muscle, increase endurance,  and reduce recovery times between workouts.

Core Flex was designed to repair tissue damage from working out. This product supposedly reduces degradation in the joints, cartilage and in connective tissue.

Core MRP is a protein https://www.exercise.com/supplements//protein[MPS2]  powder that is designed to be a meal replacement. According to Core Nutritionals, Core MRP is better than other protein powders because it includes good carbs for providing energy that athletes need.

Core PWO is a post workout recover shake that is supposed to help decrease recovery time as well as provide the muscles with the nutrients that they lose during a workout.

Core TEST is supposedly a testosterone boosting supplement that increases testosterone, reduces estrogen, reduces cortisol, increases fat loss and more. Core Nutritionals claims that this product will quickly help to boost muscle gain for men.

Core ZAP is a stimulant that you are supposed to take before you workout. Basically, Core Nutritionals claims that this will provide you with the energy you need for a longer more effective workout.

Core Nutritionals Science

One of the interesting things about the products sold by Core Nutritionals is that they claim that one of the reasons that they started the company was because they were tired of supplement companies making “fantastic promises” about their products without any proof. Well, unfortunately, Core Nutritionals does the very same thing.

Rather than offering scientific proof that their products work, they provide a comprehensive list of all of the ingredients in their products. In some cases they include a blurb describing what that ingredient has been used for in other products, but they don’t offer any studies to show these benefits.

The truth is that over thousands of years herbs have been used for medicinal purposes, including boosting energy, altering mood and so on. In studies, however, some of these types of plants, herbs, roots, etc. show very little benefit, especially when compared to modern medical alternatives.

When a supplement company makes a claim about an herb or other natural ingredient, this claim is often made based on the fact that it has been used for that purpose by other people, not because it has been proven to work in clinical studies.

As with all supplements, you will have to test Core Nutritionals products for yourself to see if they can do what they claim.

Core Nutritionals Ingredients

The nice thing about Core Nutritionals products is that they do list all of the ingredients that they use in their products. They take this one step further, however, by letting you know exactly how many grams, milligrams, etc. you will get from each ingredient.

This is nice because you can know exactly what you are putting in your body and how much of that ingredient you are putting into your body. This not only keeps you informed, but if you have a deficiency, for example, and you need to take a multivitamin, then you can ensure you don’t overdose on something specific or make sure you actually get enough.

Core Nutritionals makes the claim that they only use the purest ingredients for their products. They don’t, however, offer any money back guarantees for their products. In addition, their company is too young to determine if their products will have any contamination issues and so on.
