Gaia Herbs Products

Gaia Herbs produces many different products in nine separate categories:

  • Rapid Relief
  • Daily Wellness
  • Support system
  • Single Herbs
  • Liquid Herbal Extract
  • Gaia Organics
  • Gaia Kids
  • Kits
  • Medicinal Teas

While these categories encompass literally thousands of different herbal extracts, the category summaries themselves offer you a brief but detailed description of what each category of herbal extracts are fashioned to do.

Gaia Herbs Herbal Extracts

When things physically effect you quickly, the logic is that they can go away with equal speed, and these Rapid Relief blends and combinations of herbal extracts are meant to facilitate that. From Quick Defense, when your body is suddenly attacked by a virus or cold to Migra-Profen for general aches and pains, the Rapid Relief family of herbal extracts claim to handle it all.

The Daily Wellness category offers support for your daily life. Antioxidant Supreme contains ginkgo, green tea, and hawthorne berry.

Diet Slim is formulated with yohimbe, turmeric, green tea, and bladderwrack to naturally boost your metabolism and help you burn fat.

Gaia Herbs Support System herbal extracts focus on the belief that a lack of balance and harmony in your life can create physical difficulties. The goal is to restore that balance and harmony with these natural herbs and extracts.

The Single Herbs products are, perhaps, the most numerous of all Gaia Herbs has to offer. In other lines, the herbs have been combined to deal with certain sickness, maladies, and conditions.

With the Single Herbs line, Gaia makes available every single herb extract they produce. This allows you to use each individual herb as you see fit as well as allowing you to make your own herbal treatments mixtures.

The Liquid Herbal Extracts products are specially made to help the effectiveness of the Gaia Herbs herbal products. Since liquids are absorbed better by the body, Gaia Herbs has based their product lines around this central theme.

Gaia Herbs Gaia Organic

With over 28 USDA certified organic extracts, the Gaia Organic line of products is aimed at delivering 100% organic products exactly as nature designed them.

Gaia Herbs Gaia Kids

Gaia Herbs Gaia Kids was developed by Dr. Mary Bove, a pediatric naturopath. This extensive line of oils, salves, liquid extracts and tonics, while having the same ingredients and potency as the adult brand herbal extracts, are alcohol free and designed for childrens’ bodies.

Gaia Herbs Kits

The line of Gaia Herbs Kits are designed to increase wellness and cleanse the body. These herbal extracts address the buildup of harmful toxins in the body.

Gaia Herbs Medicinal Teas

The Gaia Herbs Medicinal Teas are scheduled for release in April of 2011. While the Gaia Herbs website speaks in general terms about this upcoming product line, they claim it will be flavorful, tasty and suitable for quick relief.

Gaia Herbs only offers a few details about the flavor sealed and foil lined pouches. However it was spoken about in general terms quite a bit so it is obvious that Gaia Herbs is putting a great deal of emphasis on their new Gaia Herbs Medicinal Teas.

Gaia Herbs Science

The claims that are made about Gaia Herbs and their herbal extracts are constant. However, there is no real science to be found on their website to back up any of these claims.

While science and medicine has proven that some of the very herbs that are used in Gaia Herbs extracts do have positive results, much of what is claimed is rumors and myth more than provable science.

While there are several glowing testimonials from several Naturopathic Doctors touting the  wellness benefits of natural and herbal remedies, there is nothing about any clinical trials or studies. No hard evidence is offered supporting the claims that Gaia Herbs makes about it products.

From an organic growing standpoint, there is plenty of detailed information on their dedication to growing and delivering their extracts in the purest most organic way possible.

Gaia Herbs Website

It is very clear when you go on the Gaia Herbs website that the main focus is on selling the products that they have available, and boy, are there a lot of those! Overall, the website looked professional and was easy to navigate. It’s biggest shortcoming is in describing the history of the Gaia Herbs company itself.

In fact, in order to find out when the Gaia Herbs company was founded, it was necessary to go to their Facebook page. The information later was found in a bio page of one of its herbal medical directors, but only after considerable digging.

The Gaia Herbs website is certainly up front about the way it manages its farms and grows its herbs. There is extensive content on this subject as well as tastefully designed image galleries of Gaia Herbs’ farm, greenhouse and many of the people that play a vital role in the Gaia Herbs operation. Great time and care has been taken on these areas of their website.

There are many different Gaia Herbs products, perhaps thousands of different products. They were all displayed adequately and they all included the ingredients, whether it was a tree, a root, a plant or grass that was combined to make the particular mixture in question.

The Gaia Herbs website itself contained a lot of information, however, from a scientific standpoint one could say there really wasn’t enough. There were many claims that this extract can relieve this condition or that extract can relieve that pain, but no real evidence that the Gaia Herbs products could live up to these claims.  You’ll have to judge for yourself - use the supplement finder to compare Gaia Herbs products with other herbal extracts on the market!
