Lifexpand Possible DemiseDetailed information about Lifexpand is extremely hard to come by. All indicators point to the strong possibility that this company met its demise a few years ago. The web domain name registered by the company is active until October 2011, but the website no longer exists. Entering the company's domain name into your web browser simply returns a page saying the server cannot be found. The same can be said for the individual product pages the company maintained at one time. A whois lookup of the domain name reveals that it is registered to Mr. Bomeny in Boca Raton. The e-mail address provided for the domain's owner is connected to a university in the state of Florida, suggesting that Mr. Bomeny may have been a student at the time the company was founded. This is all speculation, of course. But if true, it could easily explain why Lifexpand ceased to be in the marketplace just four or five years after it was started. Lifexpand ProductsOne of the company's products we uncovered in our research was sold under the name Lyte’n Go™ Chewable Electrolyte Tablets. These tablets were designed to replace minerals and electrolytes lost during moderate to vigorous exercise. Lyte’n Go™ Chewable Electrolyte Tablets were touted as being superior to liquid electrolyte replacement based on the fact that they were more easily portable, quicker to ingest, and tasted better. One online retailer with a review of this product listed the price at $24.95 per bag. The number of servings contained in a bag is not included in the description. It is assumed Lifexpand carried other supplements but this cannot be proven. A search for Lifeexpand on websites like Amazon.com, bodybuilding.com, and vitaminshoppe.com returned an error stating the page could not be found or redirection to a page which said the company's products are no longer being sold. Lifexpand Affiliate ProgramOne of bit of research did turn up an affiliate program the company offered at one time. The program was Internet-based and invited individuals and companies to push Lifexpand products with the possibility of earning a commission of 15% or more. A description of the affiliate program mentions the fact that there were several tiers of affiliate membership based on total sales. As a sales increase the individual affiliate moves up through the tiers and earns a larger commission. Although detailed information about the affiliate program could not be found, and thus could not be confirmed, it does appear that this program was similar to so many multilevel marketing programs that come and go. Lifexpand Coupon CodesAnother marketing tool Lifexpand utilized was Internet-based coupons. One of the websites offering coupon codes was pricepickle.com. With this website consumers could simply highlight the Lifexpand coupon of their choice, use the mouse or key stroke options to copy the coupon, and then paste that coupon into the shopping cart at the Lifexpand website. The shopping cart would recognize the promotional code and apply a discount to the retail price. Interestingly enough, even though pricepickle.com gives a full description of Lifexpand coupons and how they work, entering the company name into the search engine returned no results. It is evident that pricepickle.com no longer handles coupons for Lifexpand, giving further credence to the possibility that the company has gone out of business. Lifexpand Final ThoughtsWhile Lifexpand may have been a legitimate provider of dietary supplements in the past, it seems pretty clear that's no longer the case. Like many companies involved in nutritional supplements, Lifexpand seems to have come and gone with the natural ebb and flow of the industry. Exactly why Lifexpand seems to have disappeared is not known. However, if of their products were both effective and worth the cost, it stands to reason they would still be around.
