It's hard to say which TestMedica products are the most popular but we would guess the home pregnancy tests have to be near the top of the list. Several of the websites where we found these testing kits sold them for about $3.50 per kit.

With each kit containing three tests, that's roughly $1.17 per test- which isn't a bad price. TestMedica's product is not any different than any other home pregnancy test.

There aren’t any rave reviews that would suggest consumers purchase or prefer TestMedica’s product over their competitors.

Another popular product seems to be their liver screening kit which ostensibly tests for bilirubin in the urine. Excess bilirubin could possibly be a sign of infection and is certainly cause to see your physician.

Like all TestMedica kits, using the liver screening kit simply involves exposing the test strip to fresh urine and then comparing the color to the results chart on the box. If the strip turns a certain color it's an indication that there is excess bilirubin in the liver.

Some of the more surprising kits offered by TestMedica are those used to test the presence of illegal drugs in the system. TestMedica offers kits for methamphetamines, marijuana, cocaine, opiates, and even multiple drug kits.

These drug testing kits are marketed as part of a home drug abuse awareness program for parents with young children.  How effective this is in drug awareness? It can help parents to find out if their kids are using drugs.

TestMedica and Transparency

TestMedica's products are pretty innocuous in terms of causing personal injury or adverse side effects. To that extent it's probably not important to know all of detailed information about this company.

From the business side of things, it is somewhat disconcerting that TestMedica sells their products at dozens of retailers online yet has no company website.  The TestMedica packaging lists no address, and the company cannot be located through the internet yellow page directories.

Being so hard to locate seems counterproductive to good business practices. Nonetheless TestMedica has managed to market its products to enough retailers to make it a viable business.

In all likelihood the lack of company information seems to indicate that perhaps TestMedica is simply a brand name being used by a company that manufactures more than just home health testing kits.

Using TestMedica as a typical domain name, a website was located selling dozens of different health and beauty aids under more than half a dozen brand names. TestMedica wasn't listed here but it's possible that this is the same company.

As previously stated TestMedica has done a great job marketing itself to dozens of online retailers. Simply typing the name name into an Internet search engine reveals page after page of retailers who carry their products.

Most of these retailers provide complete product descriptions, instructions for use, customer reviews, and unambiguous statements making it clear that TestMedica kits are not designed to diagnose or treat any disease.

Most of their kits contain multiple test strips and can be purchased for under $10. Most averaged even less, at $3.50 to $5.50 plus shipping and handling.

Obviously, different websites will have different prices and shipping rates. On all of the sites we visited there was no mention of any sort of money back guarantee.

TestMedica Conclusions

If TestMedica is selling nutritional supplements or bodybuilding products, this reviewer would definitely be reserved in the recommending them.  This is due to the fact that TestMedica company information is virtually nonexistent.

Since TestMedica products are intended for external use only, and simply test the contents of your urine, they seem to be pretty harmless.
