donkey push-up is a calisthenics exercise that primarily targets the chest and to a lesser degree also targets the abs, glutes, groin, hamstrings, outer thighs, shoulders and triceps.

The only donkey push-up equipment that you really need is the following: exercise mat. There are however many different donkey push-up variations that you can try out that may require different types of donkey push-up equipment or may even require no equipment at all.

  2. Breathe in on the way down and exhale on the way up.
  3. Hands should be at chest height, not shoulder height. Elbows should be tucked in at a 45 degree angle, not flared out.

  1. Perform with a weighted vest for increased resistance.
  2. Perform a Spiderman Push-Up.
