Tips

  1. Tilt neck back as far as comfortably possible. Then roll neck in the largest circumference possible, so that you feel a tight stretch on the opposite side your neck is tilted throughout the entire exercise.
  2. Keep the rest of you body perfectly relaxed.

Variations

  1. Tile head back and hold for about 5 seconds. Do the same tilted forward, to the left and then to the right. Finish with a couple circular rotations.
  2. Perform a side neck stretch. Put your right hand over your head so that your right hand is on the left side of your face. Apply enough downward pressure with your arm until you feel a tight stretch in the left side of your neck. Hold for a few seconds and do the same with front, back, and right side of neck.
