ping-pong is a alternative, cardiovascular, and sports exercise that primarily targets the abs and to a lesser degree also targets the abs, biceps, calves, chest, forearms, glutes, groin, hamstrings, hip flexors, lats, lower back, middle back, neck, obliques, outer thighs, quads, shoulders, traps and triceps.

The only ping-pong equipment that you really need is the following: partner, ping pong ball, ping pong paddle, and ping pong table. There are however many different ping-pong variations that you can try out that may require different types of ping-pong equipment or may even require no equipment at all.

Tips

  1. You can play to 11 or whatever score you would prefer. 21 is just the most common. If you play to a lower score you might want to rotate serve every 3 points.
  2. If you prefer you can play on the serve that you have to hit the ball into the diagonal box opposite of you.
  3. The serve must come off the end of the table, not on the sides.
  4. If the ball tips the net on the serve it is called a fault. Two consecutive faults in a row is a point for the other player.
