Epidyne

Burn Fat / Lose Weight

Epidyne is a proprietary formula that is present in weight loss supplements that are produced by the company Muscletech. Epidyne was one of the active ingredients in Hydroxycut, which is one of the leading weight loss supplements on the market. The Hydroxycut products have recently been reformulated, however, and no longer include Epidyne.

When Hydroxycut was first released on the market, its active ingredient was Ephedra. Ephedra was soon banned in the product by the FDA for the amount of liver failures and serious effects it caused in users of this diet pill. Not long after, Hydroxycut implemented a new formula that included Epidyne as its main ingredient.

Not much information about Epidyne has been released by MuscleTech. The company used Epidyne in weight loss supplements to enhance consumers’ diet plans and help them reach their fitness goals.

Epidyne and the Other Components of Hydroxycut

Epidyne combined with Hydroxypro, Lipidrol and Capsicore in order to form the 680 mg pill combination of Hydroxycut on the market. Aside from these trademarked formulas, Hydroxycut also included all of the necessary vitamins and nutrients that you would want in a given diet supplement.

Epidyne is only found in Muscletech's products, including Hydroxycut. There are other ingredients in Hydroxycut such as L-methionin and oleic acid, which are found in many other products and supplements all around the world.

Epidyne contributes to naturally burning fat off of the user who is consuming the pill. Not only is Hydroxycut successful with its marketing campaign, but it also is one of the most talked about diet pills.

Like Lipidrol, Capsicore and Hydroxypro, Epidyne is a trademarked Muscletech formula. The company doesn’t reveal exactly what’s in it.

These other ingredients in Hydroxycut included vitamin C and calcium, which of course are great for building up the immune system and keeping the body in good working order. There are many additional amino acids and herbal ingredients that make up the rest of the blend of Hydroxycut.

Some of the other ingredients that were in Muscletech’s Hydroxycut included caffeine anhydrous, oleic acid, L-methionin, L-Leucine, L-tyrosine, and extracts from fruits, leaves, and the komjin seed. Although all of these ingredients and Epidyne were present in this weight loss supplement, it was not specified how much of each ingredient in actually in the capsule.

Epidyne and Risks of Hydroxycut

Hydroxycut is not approved by the FDA. In fact, it was recalled in 2009 due to many reports of liver damage associated with using the product. The FDA does not regulate dietary supplements.

Although Hydroxycut was subsequently reformulated, there have still seen to be some side effects or risks while taking the product. The main four ingredients of the product, Epidyne, Hydroxypro, Lipidrol and Capsicore create a product that could be dangerous or toxic to take if combined with certain medications.

Hydroxycut can also be damaging to the body if a person is not following the right type of diet with the amount of food they are eating. Due to the fact that Hydroxycut contains a combination of many different supplements, it should not be taken with any other types of diet pills and/or supplements.

Epidyne Alternatives

The competing diet supplement Apidexin includes similar ingredients to Hydroxycut. Apidexin contains a type of caffeine ingredient, di-caffeine malate, which replaces energy much like caffeine anhydrous. Caffeine is also a metabolism booster.

According to the Mayo Clinic, Ephedra is known to increase the central nervous system's stimulation factor. Not only does Ephedra boost the energy in the body, but it can have negative effects leading to asthmatic bronchitis, stroke and high blood pressure.

There are still other diet supplements on the market that are strictly based off of Ephedra itself, which are available through international companies since these products are no longer sold in the U.S. Once the FDA banned this ingredient from being included in diet supplements, manufacturers sought a replacement. Muscletech used its own trademarked formula Epidyne in order to make their supplements Ephedra-free.

Epidyne and the new Hydroxycut

It’s not clear why Muscletech has reformulated its entire Hydroxycut product line- hopefully it wasn’t because of adverse side effects! There are nine products in the new Hydroxycut product line, two of which are convenient premeasured powder mixes you can easily add to a bottle of water.

Some of the new Hydroxycut products include hoodia, green coffee extract, and acai. There’s even one that’s caffeine-free. Use the free supplement finder today to locate the products you need to achieve your weight loss goals!
