lateral step-over is a calisthenics and stretching exercise that primarily targets the quads and to a lesser degree also targets the hip flexors and groin.

The only lateral step-over equipment that you really need is the following: flat bench. There are however many different lateral step-over variations that you can try out that may require different types of lateral step-over equipment or may even require no equipment at all.
