serratus shrug is a calisthenics exercise that primarily targets the shoulders and to a lesser degree also targets the chest, lats, triceps and traps.

The only serratus shrug equipment that you really need is the following: dip bar, dip/chin-up machine, and roman chair. There are however many different serratus shrug variations that you can try out that may require different types of serratus shrug equipment or may even require no equipment at all.

  1. Perform with hands on a bench and feet flat on the floor (as if you were about to perform a bench dip).
  2. Perform with a weight on your lap (if doing a bench serratus shrug) or use a belt with a weight plate attached (if your doing a traditional serratus shrug on the dip machine).
