With the Exercise.com Booking platform, you can customize your availability schedules by adding buffers between sessions to prevent double-booking. This guide walks you through how to add a buffer to an availability schedule.
From your dashboard, click the “Schedule” tab to access your scheduling tools.
Select “Availability Schedules” to view or manage your existing schedules.
Create a new availability schedule or select an existing one to edit.
Scroll to the “Advanced Settings” section and enter the number of minutes for your buffer under “Time Buffer Before Session (in Minutes).” The buffer time will be added before or after each booked session. Click “Save” to apply your changes.
On the booking page, notice the time slots before a session is booked. In this example, the sessions are 30 minutes long with a 15-minute buffer added. Click “Book” to proceed.
Click “Book Session” to complete the booking and apply the buffer setting.
Return to the booking page to view the updated time slots. The following sessions now include the 15-minute buffer period you added.
