This guide explains how to use barcode scanning for client check-ins in the Exercise.com for Business check-ins platform. Clients can scan their barcode from the mobile app to quickly check in, while staff can review completed visits.

Client App: Barcode Check-In

1. Open Gym Check-In.

Log in to the client account. Make sure Open Gym Check-In is enabled.

If the client has no appointments scheduled for the day and Open Gym Check-In is enabled, a gym check-in reminder will appear on the app dashboard.

2. View the Barcode.

Tap the check-in reminder to display the barcode. This barcode can be scanned at the check-in scanner.

3. Smart Check-In for Appointments.

If the client has an appointment scheduled for the day, a smart check-in reminder for that appointment will appear on the app dashboard.

4. View the Barcode.

Tap the appointment reminder to view the barcode, then scan it at the check-in scanner.

5. View Completed Check-In.

After checking in, the app dashboard updates to show the completed check-in.

If the client has multiple appointments in a day, smart check-in automatically checks them into the next upcoming session and updates the reminder accordingly.

Staff View: Review Client Check-Ins

6. Select the User Account.

Log in as a trainer or staff member, navigate to Accounts, and select the client.

7. Navigate to the Visits Tab.

Click the Visits tab to view visit-related information for the selected client.

8. View Session Visits.

Click Session Visits to view completed check-ins for the client.

9. View Visits from the Schedule.

You can also view all client check-ins from the Schedule tab.
