Here’s how to capture rep max from workouts using the Exercise.com Workout Software.
Starting from the Plan Creator, follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Step 1: Click on a workout.
Step 2: Click on “Edit Sets”.
Step 3: Scroll down and check the “Save as RM?” box.
For Block Programming there is an option to save all exercises in the block as rep max. Scroll down to block notes and check the “Save all exercises as RM?” box.
How Rep Maxes Are Collected
Once you have a workout with this “Save as RM?” option enabled, you’re all set!
If “Save as RM” is enabled for a single exercise, when your client logs this workout, we’ll save a rep max for that exercise, based on the numbers they log.
If “Save as RM” is enabled for an entire block, when your client logs this workout, we’ll save a rep max for each exercise in that block, based on the numbers they log.
What if your client logs multiple sets?
If there are multiple sets logged, we’ll save the set with the lowest number of reps and highest amount of weight as their rep max for this exercise in order to filter out warm-up sets.
Now, you can capture rep maxes from your clients’ logged workouts!
