How do I create a coupon code?

Want to offer a discount for your services or products? Here’s how to create a coupon code for your platform!

NOTE: You need to choose the correct coupon type for the item you want to discount. A subscription coupon is only valid for subscriptions, and will return an error if someone tries to apply it to a single payment purchase item.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Click on your Account tab.

From your dashboard, make sure the account tab is active.

 

2. Click on the Stripe tab on the left side menu.

 

3. Click on the “Coupons” link at the top of the page.

 

4a. If you want to create a coupon for a single item purchase like a workout plan for sale or a lifetime group membership, click the “Create New Purchase Coupon” button.

You can edit the settings for purchase coupons at any time.

 

4b. If you want to create a coupon for a recurring subscription, click the “Create New Subscription Coupon” button further down the page.

NOTE: Subscription coupons cannot be edited after they are created. You can always delete them and create new ones as needed.

 

5. Fill out the coupon fields.

6. Save the coupon.

Now you can share the coupon code (copy and paste) to offer your discounts!
