How to Determine the Changes Required for Adding New Sites
This guide explains how to enable and use the feature that requires an invite link for site sign-ups. You’ll learn how to log in as a trainer, create a new region and child, and set up a new child platform. It also covers how the one-time invite link works and what happens if it’s reused.
1. Create a new child platform.
After enabling the feature flag to require an invite link for sign-ups, which generates a one-time link for site sign-ups, log in to your platform as a trainer and go to the Sites tab. Create a new region and add a child. Then, create a new child platform by clicking the “Link Platform” icon.

2. Copy the invite link and open it in a new tab or window.
When the Invite Site modal opens, copy the link using the copy icon and open it in a new tab or window to create a new child platform. Please note that the link can be used only once by the trainer.

3. Displays how many days before the link expires.
Before copying the invite link, note the label indicating how many days remain until the link expires.

4. Newly created child platform.
After creating a new child platform, it will appear on the Sites page. Once the one-time link has been used, attempting to use it again for another sign-up will simply redirect you to the login page.

By utilizing this new feature, users can effortlessly configure new sites, enhance branding, and improve collaboration. The streamlined process saves time and ensures that every site meets organizational needs, ultimately leading to a more effective and user-friendly environment.
