With the Exercise.com booking software, you can enable a waitlist for your services to help manage class and session signups efficiently. Follow this guide to learn how to set up and configure the waitlist feature within your admin dashboard.
This guide will walk you through how to enable a waitlist for your services.
From your admin dashboard, click the “Schedule” menu to begin configuring your service settings.
Select “Services” to view and manage your available service options.
Create a new Service or select an existing one to update its settings.
Scroll down and toggle on the “Allow Waitlist?” option to activate the waitlist feature for this service.
Select “First Come First Serve” to allow all waitlisted clients to be notified when a spot opens. The first client to book will be added to the session.
If you prefer an automated system, select “Auto-Add Oldest Waitlist Entry.” When someone cancels, the oldest waitlisted client will be automatically added to the session and notified with cancellation instructions. This option helps automate client management and reduce manual updates.
Choose how clients are notified about waitlist updates. You can enable both email and SMS notifications for convenience.
For “Cap,” enter the maximum number of users allowed on the waitlist.
Enter a number for the default maximum number of signups allowed for the service. Once this limit is reached, clients will see the waitlist option on the booking page.
Click “Save” to apply and confirm the waitlist configuration for your service.
Now you’ve successfully enabled and configured the waitlist for your service. Clients can automatically join a waitlist when sessions are full, ensuring fair and efficient booking management through the Exercise.com booking platform.
