You may notice differences in the available payment method options when viewing Checkout pages from different devices or roles. This article explains how Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported and displayed within the Exercise.com for Business platform.
Apple Pay and Google Pay are digital wallets that appear dynamically based on the browser and device being used. They are not enabled or disabled within the Exercise.com platform manually. Instead, whether these options appear depends entirely on the user’s environment.
| Payment Method | Appears On | Browser Support | Device Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Pay | Safari | ✅ Safari only | macOS or iOS with Apple Wallet configured |
| Google Pay | Chrome | ✅ Chrome only | Android or desktop with Google Pay set up |
⚠️ Only one wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay) will be shown at a time depending on the browser. They will never appear together.
When a viewing the Checkout page, these additional payment method options can be available based on the current device and browser – it is not specific to one account.
For example:
This is expected behavior and cannot be overridden from the platform.
In some cases, when a client already has a default payment method saved and completes a transaction using Apple Pay, it may result in two identical default cards being displayed.
This can happen because Apple Pay may tokenize the same card in a new way, leading the platform to interpret it as a new method.
✅ Temporary Solution: One of the duplicate default cards can be safely deleted.
