How to Setup Location Hierarchy

To setup location hierarchy within your fitness business management software platform, follow the step-by-step instructions below.

This guide will cover how to set up location hirarchy.

1. Sites

On a multi-location platform, navigate to the “Sites” section.

2. Setup Hierarchy Levels

When you’re on the Sites page, click “Setup Hierarchy Levels” to set up your location hierarchy.

3. Enter Hierarchy Name

In the Setup Hierarchy Levels modal, enter the name of your hierarchy and click “Add”. You may repeat this step depending on how many levels you want to set up.

4. Hierarchy Levels

After adding the hierarchy levels, they will be displayed in the modal. You can rearrange the levels by clicking the up or down arrows. To delete a level, click the trash icon.

5. Save Changes

Click “Next” to save your changes and proceed.

6. Add Hierarchy Levels

In the Hierarchy Items Tree section, the root is now displayed. You can click the “+” icon to add the hierarchy levels you’ve configured.

7. Rename or Delete Levels

When a hierarchy level is displayed in the Hierarchy Item Tree, you’ll have the option to rename or delete it.

8. Add Root Node

In the Hierarchy Items Tree section, if you want to add another root, simply click “Add Root Node”.

9. Save

Save your hierarchical structure.

10. Link Patform

Once everything is set up, you can begin adding locations to your hierarchy by clicking the “Link Platform” icon. Please note that locations can only be added to the lowest level of your hierarchy.

11. Generate Invite Link

In the Invite Site modal, select a node from the dropdown list to generate an invite link. Once the link appears below the dropdown, you can copy it and share it with staff members so they can create their platform and be added to the hierarchy

12. Access Locations

The created or added locations will be displayed under the root child or the node where you clicked the link. You can access these locations by clicking the arrow icon, and view the summary by clicking on the Platform Stats icon.
