Limit Kisi Access by Package and Location

With the Kisi integration on Exercise.com’s remote door access system, you can give clients secure 24/7 entry based on their active package status. Kisi updates automatically, so only clients with the right packages and permissions can unlock your doors.

Kisi allows you to set up smart door locks that your clients can unlock using the Kisi app or an access card. When a client has an active package with Kisi access enabled, they’ll be added to your Kisi account automatically.

You can choose which packages allow access and which locations support Kisi. This lets you keep your facility secure while making access simple for the right clients.

How Kisi Access Works

Clients will be added to Kisi:

• If a package has Kisi enabled and no location selected, clients who buy this package will be added to your Kisi account.
• If a package has Kisi enabled and the selected location also has Kisi enabled, clients who buy this package will be added to your Kisi account.

Clients will NOT be added to Kisi:

• If a package has Kisi enabled but the selected location does NOT have Kisi enabled, clients will NOT be added to your Kisi account.
• If a package does NOT have Kisi enabled, clients will NOT be added to Kisi, even if the location has Kisi enabled.

Package Expiration and Renewal:

• If a client has an active subscription package with Kisi enabled, they will keep access as long as the subscription renews.
• When a package expires, is canceled, or is removed, the client’s Kisi access is removed and they will not be able to unlock any doors.

Below are the steps to control who is added to your Kisi account by enabling Kisi for specific packages and locations.

How to Enable Kisi for a Package

1. Go to the Schedule Tab

Go to the Schedule tab on your Dashboard.

2. Click Packages

Click Packages to see all your available packages.

3. Open the Package Options Menu

Click the three-dot menu next to the package you want to edit.

4. Click Edit Package

Click Edit Package to update the package settings.

5. Choose a Location (Optional)

Click Select Location if you want this package to be tied to a specific location.

Note: If you select a location here, that location must also have Kisi enabled.

6. Turn On Door Access

Toggle Door Access on to allow this package to unlock doors.

7. Select Doors

Click Select Doors to choose which doors this package can unlock.

8. Choose Doors for This Package

Select the door or doors you want clients with this package to unlock.

9. Save Your Door Settings

Click Save to confirm your door selections.

How to Enable Kisi for a Location

1. Go Back to the Schedule Tab

Go to the Schedule tab to manage your locations.

2. Click Locations

Click Locations to see all locations on your platform.

3. Open the Location Options Menu

Click the three-dot menu next to the location you want to edit.

4. Click Edit Location

Click Edit Location to update the settings for this site.

5. Turn On Kisi Access

Toggle Kisi Access on to enable Kisi for this location.

6. Save Your Location Settings

Click Save to confirm your changes.

By enabling Kisi for the right packages and locations, you can make sure only paying and active clients can unlock your doors. This setup keeps your facility secure while giving your members a smooth, hands-free entry experience.
