With the Exercise.com Remote Door Access integration, you can provide members with 24/7 secure entry to your facility using Kisi. This feature allows gym owners to control access by linking Kisi with membership packages and locations, so only clients with active Kisi-enabled access will be able to unlock doors with their Kisi app or access card.
Kisi makes it easy to set up door locks that work seamlessly with your Exercise.com account, giving your clients convenient, authenticated entry while you maintain complete control over who can access your gym.
To learn more about how to enable Kisi access on your packages or locations, click here to read our instructional guide. Once a client is added to your Kisi account, here’s how to grant them door access:
Navigate to the Users section to manage client access settings.
Click on the client you want to enable door access for. You can search by name or email address to find them.
Click Share Access to assign door access permissions to the selected user.
You can also scroll to the bottom of the member information page and click Share Access to assign permissions.
Select a scope from the dropdown field. The available options are Group, Place, or Organization.
Select the group, place, or organization from the dropdown field to assign standard access privileges.
Toggle the switch on to notify users via email with their login instructions.
Click Assign to grant shared access to the user.
You have successfully navigated the Kisi interface to add a user and assign them to an access group. Verify that the user appears in the correct group with appropriate door access. For further customization, explore additional user privileges and access settings in the Kisi help resources.
