With the Exercise.com Workout Plan Creator, you can quickly update exercise details like sets, reps, and weight across your clients’ workout calendars and plans so everything stays consistent.
This guide shows you how to copy your edits to all instances of an exercise in a calendar or plan, starting from the Clients tab of your Dashboard.
This way, you can make many changes at once instead of editing the same exercise over and over.
Watch the video below for a quick walkthrough, then follow the step-by-step instructions.
From the Clients tab on your Dashboard, click Accounts to open the Accounts section.
Click the options icon to open the exercise options for your client.
Click View calendar to open the client’s workout calendar.
Click any workout on the calendar that includes the exercise you want to update.
Click Make client workout to convert the workout so you can edit the exercises for this client.
In the confirmation dialog, review the message and click the button to confirm the conversion.
Click Yes to confirm and apply your changes.
A success message will appear that says, “Successfully copied exercise data to all instances!”. This confirms that your exercise updates were copied across the calendar.
You can also copy exercise attributes inside your Plans and Routines. Click the Plans tab to open your list of plans.
To edit your routines, click Manage Routines. To change a single plan, click Edit plan for that plan and update the exercise details as needed.
By following these steps, you can quickly save exercise metadata updates, like sets, reps, and weight, to every occurrence of an exercise across workout calendars and plans. This keeps your programs consistent, saves you time, and helps your clients follow the most up-to-date version of their workouts.
