How do I save a routine in the Workout Plan Creator?

With the Workout Plan Creator in your Exercise.com for Business platform, you can easily save a routine so you can reuse it in future plans or schedule it for your clients.

Starting from the “Plans” tab on your Dashboard, follow the steps below to save a routine from a workout.

1. Click the Plans Tab

Click “Plans” to view your available workout plans.

2. Open the Plans Section

Click the plan you want to work with to open it.

3. Access Additional Options

Click the options menu (three dots) to see more actions for this plan.

4. Select “Build Workout”

Click “Build Workout” to open the workout you want to save as a routine.

5. Open Workout Options

Click the options menu within the workout to view available actions.

6. Create Routine from Workout

Select “Create routine from workout” to save the current workout as a routine.

7. Enter a Routine Name

Enter a name for your routine so you can find it later.

8. Confirm Routine Creation

Click “Create Routine” to save your new routine.

9. Confirm Routine Saved

A “Saved new routine” message will appear to confirm that your routine has been saved successfully.

10. View Your Saved Routine

Click “Saved Routine” to open the routine you just created.

11. Search for a Routine

Use the “Search Routine” bar to quickly find your saved routines.

12. Select the Yoga-Bench Routine

Click “Yoga-Bench” to open this routine.

13. Add the Routine to Your Calendar

Click “Add to Calendar” to schedule the routine in your workout calendar.

14. Confirm the Routine Was Added

You will see the routine added to the correct date in your calendar.

You have now saved your workout as a reusable routine and scheduled it in your workout calendar. This helps you build plans faster and reuse consistent programming for your clients. For more help, see our article on how to create a workout plan.
