When you start a new workout plan in the Exercise.com workout plan system, you don’t have to begin with the first workout. If you want to resume where you left off or simply start later in the plan, you can choose your starting workout during setup.
Follow the steps below to customize your starting workout on both the website and the mobile apps.
Click “My Stuff” to open your personal exercise dashboard where your plans and workouts are stored.
Click “My Workout Plans” to view your saved workout plans.
Locate the plan you want to start. From the plan’s main page, click “Start this Plan.”
In the “Schedule Workout Plan” pop-up, click the drop-down next to “Choose first workout” and select the workout you want to begin with. Then click “Next Step” to continue configuring your schedule and reminders.
Click “Next Step” to move forward with the plan setup.
Click “Start Plan!” to begin your customized plan using your chosen starting workout. It will appear under “My Current Workout Plan” in the My Stuff section.
Tap the top-left menu icon from the Dashboard.
Tap “Plans” to view available workout plans.
Find the plan you want to follow and tap “Start.”
Adjust your workout schedule and review the starting workout selection.
Tap “Start Plan” to activate the plan beginning with your selected workout.
You have now successfully started a workout plan from any workout you choose—on both the website and the mobile apps. This allows you to pick up where you left off or begin at the best point in your program. For additional help, see other articles on customizing and managing workout plans.
