With the Exercise.com Workout Plan Creator, you can quickly update and swap exercises across your clients’ workouts so their plans always match their needs. This guide will show you how to swap one exercise or all future instances for a client, starting from the “Accounts” tab of your Dashboard.

1. Click “Accounts” on Your Dashboard.

2. Open the Client’s Exercise Options.

Find the client you want to update, then click the options button next to their name to view exercise options for that client.

3. Click “View calendar”.

From the client options, click “View calendar” to see all of the workouts scheduled for that client.

4. Open the Workout You Want to Edit.

On the calendar, click the workout where you want to swap an exercise to open the workout details.

5. Open Exercise Editing for the Workout.

Inside the workout details, click the exercise edit or options button to start editing the exercises in that workout.

6. Open the Exercise Search.

Click the exercise search area to bring up the list of available exercises you can use to replace the current one.

7. Type to Search for a New Exercise.

In the search field, type a letter or exercise name to filter the list and find the replacement exercise you want to use.

8. Select the Replacement Exercise.

From the filtered list, click the exercise you want to use as the replacement for the current exercise.

9. Choose Whether to Swap Once or Swap All Future Instances.

To update this exercise everywhere, check the box labeled “Swap all instances of this exercise in this workout and in future workouts“. Leave the box unchecked if you only want to swap the exercise for this single workout.

10. Click “Swap exercise” to Save Your Changes.

When your settings are correct, click the “Swap exercise” button to apply the change. The exercise will be swapped based on your selection in the checkbox.

If you checked the box to swap all instances, the new exercise will replace the old one in this workout and any future scheduled workouts that use the same exercise. If you left the box unchecked, only this one workout will be updated.

Now you can quickly swap a single exercise or all future instances in the Workout Plan Creator, helping you keep your clients’ programs updated without rebuilding their workouts from scratch.
