Exercise.com for Business supports connections with the most popular wearable devices, and we’re always looking for more to add. If you want to connect to an app that isn’t available in our platform yet, please let us know. Here is an overview of how our integration with wearables works, including the data that is synced.
See Available Wearables at My Connected Apps.
We make our wearables available for Clients to connect on the My Connected Apps page.
We currently support Garmin, Fitbit, MyFitnessPal, Strava, Withings, Polar, Coros, and more.
We are planning to support more in the near future, including Apple Health.
Please see the full list of Wearables at the bottom of this page.
Your Clients will be prompted to sign in with the connected app they choose.
Your Clients will see the login form for the app they want to connect to. They can sign in with their connected app account, and opt in to sharing the data that they want to sync.
Review the data available to sync.
Different apps will be able to share different data, depending on what the device can track and make available. Your clients can check to see what data will be synced to their account on the My Connected Apps page.
Activity will be synced to Client accounts like workouts or exercises.
Activity data will sync workouts or similar exercise activity that is captured by the wearable device. This activity will be posted to the Client’s Journal or App Dashboard, much like a workout or exercise.
Body stats, daily summaries, and sleep activity will be logged as Measurements.
Body stats, daily summaries, and sleep activity will be logged as Measurements. You can review your clients’ entries any time on the Manage Client: Measurements page, and see their logs charted over time.
Nutrition logs will be logged with nutrient breakdowns on the Nutrition page.
Nutrition logs will be logged with nutrient breakdowns on the Manage Client: Nutrition page. You’ll get a detailed breakdown based on what your client’s connected app supports in terms of macro and micro nutrient intake.
This guide showed you how clients can connect to other apps and explained what data would sync.
Now your clients can sync their accounts to other apps and wearable devices to sync workouts and other stats to their profile.
