How to Set Up Low Stock Alerts for Products

Learn how to automatically notify staff when a product or variant’s inventory falls below its defined low stock threshold.

1. Automations

Click 'Automations'

2. Create New Automation

Click 'Create New Automation'

3. Select Send a Message One Time

Select 'Send a Message' One Time'

4. Fill-in Details

When? – select “low stock threshold”

What? – Add Product Categories and/or Location

Send To? – Select to whom the automation is sent to

How? – Select the the automation should be sent

Message – Add subject and body of the message

Fill-in details

5. Save

Click 'Save'

6. Low Stock Threshold

If the product or variant’s inventory falls equal or below the defined low stock threshold then an email message is sent.

Inventory is less than Low Stock Threshold

7. Message

The message will be sent to a staff member.
