How to Create an API Key

As part of our custom solutions for fitness businesses, you can create API Keys that will allow your developers to use the Exercise.com API in a more customizable way. In this guide, we’ll show you how to create an API key that will grant you access to our API within your custom-branded platform.

1. Click on the “Account” tab.

Start by signing in with your primary admin account, then click on the “Account” tab.

2. Click “Customize Platform” on the left side menu.

3. Click the “Developers” tab.

4. Contact your CSM if you don’t have API access yet.

If you see a message that you don’t have API access yet, please contact your CSM.

Once you receive access, you’ll see the instructions for how to access the API documentation on the API Keys page.

5. Click the “Add” button.

6. Highlight your new API key and copy it.

Highlight your new API key with your mouse, and copy it. Please keep in mind that you won’t be able to access this key again. You need to save this key elsewhere if you want to be able to see it again. Otherwise, you can create a new API key.
