How to Create an App Alert
Within our Custom-branded fitness apps, you have the ability to schedule and send announcements directly to everyone who’s using your apps. This guide walks you through creating an App Alert to show as a full-screen announcement in your apps.
1. Click “Automations”
Sign in with the admin account on your platform, and click the “Automations” tab.
2. Click the “Create New Automation” dropdown menu.
Click the “Create New Automation” dropdown menu.
3. Select the “Send App Alert” option.
Select the “Send App Alert” option from the dropdown menu options.
4. Click the edit icon next to “no App Alert selected”.
Click the edit icon next to “no App Alert selected” to reveal the link to the the App Alert creator view.
5. Click the “Manage App Alerts” link to open the App Alert Creator.

6. Click the “New App Alert” button.
Click the “New App Alert” button to create a new app alert, and choose the “App Alert” option.
7. Enter a Name for your App Alert.
Enter a descriptive Name for your App Alert. This name won’t be visible to the public, but it will be helpful to use something that makes it easy for staff members to know exactly which alert it is.
8. Use the configuration options to set up your App Alert how you want it.
Now you can play around with the configuration options to set up your App Alert how you want it.
9. The Heading Text sets the largest text on the App Alert.

10. Setting a Hero Image (OPTIONAL) will add an image to the foreground of the App Alert.

11. Set your button style, color, text, and action.
You can customize your button style, color, text, and action for the link that you want to send people to when they tap the button.
12. Use the “Text Block” section for longer content or explanations that you want to include in the App Alert.
Provide additional description text for the app alert in the Text Block field.
13. Adjust your Text Color and Background settings as needed based on your App Alert design.

14. You can also upload an Image for your Background that will fill up the entire background of the App Alert.

15. The Vertical Alignment setting allows you to pin your main App Alert content (Heading, Hero Image, Text, and Button) to the Top, Center, or Bottom of the App Alert.
Use the Vertical Alignment selector to specify the positioning for your App Alert content as pinned to the top, center, or bottom of the Alert.
16. Click “Save” to finish creating your App Alert.
Click the “Save” button to finish creating your App Alert. You can come back and edit it any time – even after it’s been sent.
