This guide will walk you through how to prevent overselling products.
1. Account
Navigate to the “Account” section.
2. Products Section
Access “Products” from the expanded menu.
3. Products Tab
Click on the “Products” tab
4. Edit a Product
Select a product that you want to edit
5. Variants
Click on “Variants” section.
6. Edit Variant
Click on the “Edit” button.
7. Enable Block Out of Stock
Enable the “Block Out of Stock” option. If a product is out of stock, it will prevent accidental overselling by blocking purchases when inventory reaches zero.
8. Done
Complete the editing process by confirming your changes.
9. Save Product
Save the product updates to apply the new stock information.
10. Out of Stock Product
This is what will display when an item is sold out—you won’t be able to complete the purchase.
