How to Swap an Exercise in the iOS Exercise Library?

With the Exercise.com workout logging tools, you can easily update and customize workouts for your clients. This guide will walk you through how to swap an exercise in the iOS Exercise Library when editing workouts is enabled on your platform.

1. Turn Off the “Disable Editing Workouts” Flag in the Admin Platform

Go to the Admin Platform, search for your business platform, and open it. In Feature Flags, make sure the “Disable Editing Workouts” option is turned off.

2. Log In to the App

Log in to your branded app.

3. Select “Programs”

Select “Programs” from the bottom menu.

4. Search or Select a Workout

Search for a workout or choose one from your list.

5. Select the “Workouts” and “Week” Tabs

Select the “Workouts” tab, then the “Week” tab, and choose the workout you want to edit.

6. Select “Log Workout”

Tap “Log Workout”.

7. Select an Exercise

Tap the exercise you want to swap.

8. Open the Three-Dot Menu and Select “Swap Exercise”

Tap the three-dot menu and select “Swap Exercise”.

9. Search for a Replacement Exercise

Search for the exercise you want to use instead, then tap the swap icon.

10. View the Swapped Exercise

The new exercise will now appear in the workout. It will use the default fields from the replacement exercise.

Now you can quickly swap exercises inside the iOS Exercise Library whenever the “Disable Editing Workouts” setting is turned off. This makes it easy to adjust workouts on the fly and give clients the flexibility they need during training.
