This guide shows how to swap an exercise in the iOS Exercise Library using the Exercise.com workout logging tools. When workout editing is enabled on your platform, you can quickly replace exercises while logging a workout to better match your clients’ needs.
Go to the Admin Platform, search for your business platform, and open it. In Feature Flags, make sure the “Disable Editing Workouts” option is turned off.
Log in to your branded iOS app using your account credentials.
Tap Programs from the bottom navigation menu.
Search for a workout or select one from your list.
Tap the Workouts tab, then select the Week view and choose the workout you want to log.
Tap Log Workout to begin logging the session.
Tap the exercise you want to replace.
Tap the three-dot menu next to the exercise, then select Swap Exercise.
Search for the exercise you want to use, then tap the swap icon.
The new exercise will now appear in the workout using the default fields from the replacement exercise.
You can now swap exercises in the iOS Exercise Library whenever workout editing is enabled. This gives trainers and clients the flexibility to adjust workouts in real time without rebuilding the entire session.
