How do I set up a card reader?
Here’s how to connect a card reader to your web platform, starting from the “Account” tab of your Dashboard. Step-by-step instructions are below:

Step-by-Step Guide: Connecting a BBPOS WisePOS E
Step 1: Connect reader to your internet.

Step 2: Make sure your reader is up to date.
Follow the instructions on the reader to make sure it has the latest updates.
Step 2: On your web platform, log in as the primary admin account admin and click on the “Account” tab, then click the “Stripe” tab on the left sidebar.
Step 3: Click on the “Card Readers” link.
Step 4: Click on the “+ Add Card Reader” button.
Step 5: Add a name and select the location for this card reader.
Once you save this reader, you will not be able to edit the location unless you disconnect it and start over.
Step 6: On your reader, tap “Connect” once you’re connected to WiFi.
Your card reader will display a unique registration code. Enter this code on the form and click the “Save” button to confirm.
Now you’re ready to swipe cards for payment and adding cards to client profiles!
You will be able to select the card reader from available payment methods when you go through the normal process of charging a client for a package, product, etc.

Step 1: Connect reader to your internet.

Step 2: Click on the “Stripe” tab on the left sidebar.
Step 3: Click on the “Card Readers” link.
Step 4: Click on the “+ Add Card Reader” button.
Step 5: Add a name and select the location, once saved you can not edit the location.
Step 6: On your reader, enter the key sequence 0-7-1-3-9 to display a unique registration code.
Enter the unique registration code and click the “Save” button to confirm.
Now you’re ready to swipe cards for payment and adding cards to client profiles!
