Click “Platform” to view platform configuration options.

Toggle on the option labeled “When viewing your Messages, view all conversations with all staff members on your platform.”

Click “Messages” to access the messaging area.
Click the conversation labeled “Nate Elliot with Alicia Trainer” to open it.

Click the message box to open it and start typing your response.

You will be prompted with a warning indicating that this conversation is not owned by you.

Click “Send” when you’re ready to confirm your message.

Review the message details to check the sender. It should display the head trainer’s name.

Click “Trainers” to access the list of trainers.

Back under the “Account” settings, go to the “Trainers” tab. Select the specific trainer whose permissions you want to adjust.

Click “Permissions” to view and edit trainer permissions.

Click “Messages” to manage messaging permissions for the trainer.

Change the setting to “Can manage all” and save. Updating this permission will allow the trainer to view all other staff members’ messages.

Click “Save Trainer” to save the updated permissions and settings.

Click “Messages” to return to the messaging interface.

A trainer with this permission setting can now send messages as themselves on any conversation. Logged in as the trainer, go to the “Messages” tab and select a conversation between another staff member and a client.

Enter a message and click the send icon.

Click “Send” to send the new message.

Review the message details to check the sender. It should display the staff member’s name.

You’ve now enabled trainers to respond as themselves by adjusting messaging permissions and trainer settings in the Exercise.com platform. This feature ensures trainers can communicate directly and personally with clients. For more information, see related articles on messaging and staff management.
